About me

Born and raised in the vibrant city of Stockholm to an Austrian mother and Russian father, I expanded my multicultural upbringing by marrying my Irish-Portuguese husband in 2004 and moving across the pond to New York's scenic Hudson Valley.

My professional journey has been quite the whirlwind! I'm a spirited project manager who has orchestrated events, managed restaurants, and served as CEO for a language company. When I first moved to the U.S., I worked remotely for a Swedish-Finnish company, commuting every six weeks. Talk about a career mixtape!

In 2017, I made a firm decision to chase a more fulfilling and exhilarating path—one that could harness my skills, pair them with my extensive travel escapades, and sprinkle in some storytelling magic to bring joy and laughter. And voila! The stars aligned, and I became a Tour Director.

My enthusiasm for this gig is palpable. There's nothing more rewarding than hearing that I've made a positive impact on someone's life. Who wouldn't adore that? 

Wanting to pay it forward,  I've joined TripSchool's all-star team to train the next generation of talented tour directors. With my passion for adventure and wealth of real-world experience, I can't wait to equip students with the skills to lead unforgettable journeys across the globe. Let's spark wanderlust worldwide - one inspired trip leader at a time! 

When I'm not jet-setting on tours, I serve as Amazon's lead Swedish linguist. But downtime is essential, too! I tackle my never-ending DIY "honey-do" list for my 1885 colonial home, unwind with my two feline companions, dive into books and research, and occasionally vanish into the fascinating depths of virtual rabbit holes.

My diverse life experiences have shaped me into a well-rounded, centered, and educated person who goes the extra mile with a mile-wide smile, always ready for the next adventure!
